Why should I buy or sell on PoshPoints?
Your trash is another persons treasure! Everybody's got stuff laying around that's
been collecting dust and you just CAN'T throw it away. PoshPoints gives you the
ability to list it for free with a certainty that somebody will want it. Since we
give every user free points upon registration, users can buy something for ABSOLUTELY
free within seconds of their registration. Once you sell your item and it has been
confirmed, you will receive more points to shop in the PoshPoint Market.

What are 'points'?
Since there is no actual monetary or item exchange, points are the method that PoshPoints
uses to keep track of value amounts on items sold and purchased in the PoshPoints
Market. If you estimate an item you are listing to have an actual monetary
value of $5.00us, you should list your item for 5 points.

How do I get more points?

buyer receives your items, you receive an equal point transfer to your account balance.
You can also receive 10 points for every member you refer that lists their first
item! You can review more about the referral program under the 'My Account / Referral
Program' section.

Can I buy more points?
PoshPoints will allow you to purchase points for a monetary value. We do prefer
you earn your points the good ol' fashion way by trading items and referring members.
If you need points right away, you can purchase 1 point for $1usd plus a 15% transaction
fee. (ie: 1pt = $1.15) The purpose of the transaction fee is to help maintain the
site and ensure that the point values are not affected. To purchase more points,
please login and visit the my account section.
Can I convert my points to real money?
No. Points can only be redeemed by purchasing items in the PoshPoints Market.

How do I post an item for sale?

What type of item should I sell to start with?
Remember, PoshPoints is just starting out! Since points are limited as the site
starts, we suggest to list something that has a small monetary to ensure somebody
can buy it with their complimentary 15 points. We also suggest to list something
that is inexpensive to ship since you'll be paying for the shipping!
How do I charge for shipping fees?
You don't! Sellers pay for all shipping fees. Yep, that's right, YOU pay for
shipping. We recommend that all items be inexpensive to ship in the beginning stages
of PoshPoints to promote trading. Remember, you are selling your items so you can
accumulate points to buy more stuff in the PoshPoints Market. Although this sounds
odd in the existing world of eCommerce, don't forget....when you purchase from somebody
else, they'll pay your shipping fees too!

How do I receive points?
After the buyer has received their item, PoshPoints asks them to confirm it
so you can receive your points equal to what you sold the item for. After
your item has been confirmed, you will automatically receive your points and we
will update your History score to reflect the successful transaction.
